Ulmer Industries furnished the Stainless Steel bridge signs on Interstate 10 @ The Indian Canyon interchange in the Palm Springs area. The $16.5 million project, of which $5.5 million were ARRA funds, replaced the original over crossing with a six-lane over crossing, including bike lanes on each side. The project also widened portions of 20th Avenue and Garnet Avenue, improving traffic signals, storm drainage and freeway vertical clearance.
Construction on the Indian Canyon interchange began in August 2010 and created an estimated 350 jobs.
Contractor we furnished to on this job is Granite Construction.
